Development of the Amphibian Egg, as a Model of Vertebrate Embryology
Producer: University of GroningenThis program will help students in biomedical sciences to understand the vertebrate ‘building plan’. High-quality videos of a living embryo, together with animations of gastrulation and neurulation, as well as histological sections of embryos, make the morphological processes and aspects of vertebrate embryology very clear. The presence of self-tests will help the student to develop a solid understanding of the key concepts of vertebrate embryology. The content is presented to the students in a logical and intuitive style, enabling them to navigate freely without losing focus on the main storyline.
